Duke beat Matthew home by only a few minutes, and for once, they had the house to themselves.

They didn’t waste a moment of it. They were cuddled on the couch watching some lame B-rated comedy, pretending to watch it as they talked about nonsense and stole kisses between questions.

Duke loved how Matthew fit perfectly against him, allowing maximum body contact. He didn’t even care that they were dressed.

He’d never met anyone as sexy and enticing as his mate, and the sex was always intense, but moments like these were just as good. It was strange, in a way, that no matter what they were doing, Duke was happy as long as they were together.

“So tell me something about you and your brothers,” Matthew goaded him. “Something funny.”

“Something funny?” Duke had to think hard about that for a second. “Well, I guess most of our funny business took place when we were kids. We were always getting in trouble, and we usually tried to blame it on Bailey.”

“That’s so mean,” Matthew chuckled.

“Not really,” Duke laughed softly. “He was usually the one starting things anyway. Besides, if he was innocent, dad knew. For instance, I once tried to blame Bailey for not putting the handbrake on in the car when we went camping. Bailey had just gotten his license and was driving us everywhere, so it seemed like a good excuse when the car rolled back into the lake.”

His mate chuckled again. “So what really happened?”

“Well, there were other families camping around the same place, and there was this cute girl there about my age. We snuck away and were making out in the backseat of the car. She got a little overly excited when she was clumsily turning around to straddle me and somehow managed to kick the handbrake loose. Suddenly the car started rolling and we panicked. We jumped out of the car just before it hit water and ran back to our families, trying to act casual. I blamed it on Bailey when it was discovered, but apparently, Dad had seen me sneak off earlier. He let me sweat it for a while before he told me that.”

“Were you grounded?” Matthew asked.

“Well, I was nineteen at the time, so technically he couldn’t,” Duke said. “Instead, he held my motorcycle hostage until I could pay for the cost to drag our car out of the lake. And, understandably, I wasn’t allowed to drive the car for a month.”

“Ouch,” Matthew laughed.

“I felt doomed without my bike, and Bailey wasn’t too happy with me, either, so he refused to drive me anywhere except to and from campus.”

“Kinda served you right, though,” Matthew told him.

“I guess,” Duke sighed.

“Can I ask you something?” Matthew asked him.

“Sure, anything,” Duke told him.

“Have you been with a lot of women?” he asked, looking genuinely curious.

“About as many as I have men,” Duke told him. He wasn’t about to mention numbers. After all, he’d never claimed to be a saint. “Have you ever been with
